FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question that’s not listed here? Call, text, or visit our New Westminster dental clinic — we’ll be glad to help.
What can I expect on my first visit?
Your first appointment is relaxed. You’ll meet one of our dentists, discuss any concerns, and go through a full oral exam. If needed, we’ll take X-rays to check areas that aren’t visible. Before anything moves forward, we explain what we see and talk through options so you can decide what works for you.
How often should I book a checkup and cleaning?
Most people benefit from a visit every six months. Some may need a different schedule depending on age, oral health, or ongoing treatment. We’ll suggest what’s right for you after your exam and keep the timing flexible to fit your life.
Do you accept dental insurance or direct billing?
Yes. We offer direct billing to most insurance providers. If your plan doesn’t support it, we’ll help you submit claims yourself. You’ll always get a clear estimate before treatment begins.
Is Uptown Park Dental part of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?
Our clinic supports patients eligible under the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We can check your coverage, explain how it works, and make sure you understand your options before scheduling care.
Do you treat children and seniors?
Absolutely. We care for patients of every age. Our team is used to working with children, families, and older adults — adjusting appointments and treatments to make things comfortable for everyone.
What if I have a dental emergency?
If you have pain, swelling, or a broken tooth, call us right away during business hours. For after-hours concerns, you can text our emergency line, and we’ll respond as soon as possible to arrange care.
What languages do you speak?
We’re proud to serve a diverse community. Our team can assist in Cantonese, Farsi, French, Hindi, Korean, Punjabi, Sebocroatian, and Tagalog.
