When you come in for the first time, we keep it simple. One of our dentists will take a look, talk through what’s going on, and outline a plan that fits you. Sometimes that means a cleaning, sometimes a little repair work. Either way, you’ll leave knowing exactly what’s next — no pressure, no surprises.
Many of our patients have been with us for years. Some bring their kids; others bring grandkids. That’s how long we’ve been part of this neighbourhood. Our staff speaks several languages, including Cantonese, Farsi, French, Hindi, Korean, Punjabi, Serbo-Croatian, and Tagalog, so conversations happen naturally.

Dr. J. Choi, DMD
General Dentist
Dr. Choi joined Uptown Park Dental in March 2023. Raised in Burnaby, he takes pride in serving nearby communities and helping patients feel comfortable in the chair. His approach is steady and straightforward — explaining each step so you always know what’s happening. Outside the clinic, he enjoys local hikes and spending time with family.
Dr. Josh Lombardi, DMD
General Dentist
Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Lombardi brings a friendly, practical approach to dentistry. He focuses on preventive care, restorative treatment, and clear communication. Patients often note how relaxed and at ease they feel under his care — which is exactly his goal. When he’s not in the office, you’ll likely find him exploring local restaurants or catching a hockey game.
Dr. Jae Cho, DMD
General Dentist
Dr. Cho completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. He believes dental visits should feel collaborative, not clinical. His calm presence and attention to detail make even complex treatments easier to navigate. Dr. Cho enjoys working with patients of all ages and values the long-term relationships that come with family care.
Dr. Dan Czerniecki, DMD (Retired November 2024)

After many years serving the New Westminster community, Dr. Dan officially retired in November 2024. His impact continues to be felt every day — through the patients he cared for, the colleagues he mentored, and the friendly spirit he helped shape at Uptown Park Dental. We wish him every joy in this next chapter.

Originally from Mexico, Araceli moved to Vancouver to complete her training and has been part of the Uptown Park Dental team for years. Her friendly, caring nature helps patients — especially kids — feel at ease from the moment they sit down.
